We started our trip by driving to York! (think Braveheart!) We stayed at a cute B&B and got to wander a lot! Stephen and I found a ruin of an old cathedral, next to a cool museum Stephen loved. We stayed there for awhile, then after dinner we went on a ghost walk around York! Sadly, it wasn't scary at all...more like going to British Culture, but without taking notes. Haha...It was fun though. Then the next morning we toured York Minster then had free time to walk around. I found a fruit vender and bought strawberries! They were delicious!
We then headed to Edinburgh, Scotland! The drive was beautiful! We saw the mountains and rolling green hills, and lots and lots of sheep! Our hotel was real nice, and dinner was ok. haha..generally the food is kinda blah. In the morning we toured the Edinburgh Castle! It was so neat! Then we walked down the royal mile and all over the place. Stephen bought something cool, but he might post later so i'll let him tell about it. I found out i'm from the Macintosh clan, so i bought a little book that talks about the clan and the Ritchie people in it. We also got to go to the Scottish Royal Museum. (i think that's the one we went to, Stephen will know haha)
This morning we got in the bus prepared for a long drive. We stopped at St. Andrews, at the coast! It was neat to walk on the beach! Also there is a very famous golf course, where the British open is played or something like that. Then we got back on the road. The only other stop we made was at Loch Ness! Too bad i didn't get to see Nessie the Loch Ness Monster :(
I did however get some cute souvenirs! yay!
We are at our hotel now, it's surrounded by mountains! Snow topped mountains!
Tomorrow we are totally free! Stephen and I are going to go hiking! Then just chill i hope, i'm tired! Well i love you all, and miss you all terribly. I'm homesick.
